Obituary of John Carl Knight

John Carl Knight,Jr. was born April 12, 1957 in Jackson, Mississippi and he passed away of Sunday, May 7, 2017 at his residence in Westmoreland at the age of 60. Mr. Knight was the son on John Carl Knight, Sr. and Betty Lou Ivy. He was an electrician and a member of the NRA and he was a "joker, a smoker and a midnight toker." He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lou Ivy and sister, Barbara Ann Scott. Survivors include his wife Rebecca Knight of Westmoreland; son John Carl Knight III of Westmoreland; daughter Carrie Lorraine Knight of Westmoreland; three grandchildren, Elijah Brinkley, Alexis Harvey and Dominick Harvey; father and step-mother, John Carl Knight Sr. and Jeannette Knight of Hendersonville; brother, Denny Knight of Hendersonville; sister and brother-in-law, Betty Lynn Hare and Glenn Michael Hare of Westmoreland. Other relatives and many friends also survive. Memorial services will be conducted at time to be announced later.
