Obituary of Margaret Jean Hall

Margaret Jean Hall, age 81, of Gallatin, passed away on Thursday January 9, 2020 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. Margaret was born in Portland, TN on Sunday December 25, 1938, daughter of Herschel Glen Legge and Clara Estelle Buntin Legge. Margaret worked as a CNA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Hall who died Aug, 18, 1993; daughter, Cathy Downs; sisters Bonnie Briley and Kay Dillard and friend, Harrison Likens. Survivors include daughter, Kimberly Ann (Jimmy Daily) Liggett of Gallatin, brother, David Legge of Gallatin; sisters, Evelyn Tucker of Portland, Faye Mandrell of Gallatin and Pat Atkinson of Bethpage, grandchildren, Niki (Andy) Simpson, Shantel Sams and Justin (Marianna) Liggett; great grandchildren, A J Simpson, Caleb Simpson. Kyler Sams, Blane Sams, Destiny (Hunter) Adams, Brennon Liggett, Analyssa Liggett and Raylen Liggett; great-great grandchild, Kinsley Adams. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, January 18, 2020 12-1 pm at Sulphur Fork Missionary Baptist Church located at 485 Fairfield Rd in Bethpage. Celebration of Life will begin at 1 PM at the church. Sumner County Funeral and Cremation Services in charge of local arrangements. 615-452-9059 .
