Obituary of Linda Joyce Bentley

Linda Joyce Loggans Bentley age 77 of Gallatin passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at The Waters of Gallatin.

Linda was born August 9, 1942 in Kingsport, TN to Ewing Joseph and Marjorie Samples Loggans.  Linda grew up in Kingsport, TN, Phoenix, AR, Springfield, NY. and Chattanooga, TN. She graduated high school form the American School in Chicago, IL and took college classes from Shelby State in Memphis and Vol State in Gallatin.

Linda was a kindergarten teacher for 17 years and a caregiver for HATS for 13 years.  She was of the Baptist faith and attended Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Ronald Loggans, sister, Donna Loggans and son-in-law, Johnny Dorris.

Survivors include her husband,  Leonard H. Bentley of Gallatin; two daughters, Jolie Lynette of Gallatin and Leslie Heather (Ronnie) Taylor of Hendersonville; grandsons, Robby (Emma) Collins, Nicholas Collins, Dillon Collins, Andrew Atwood, Reece Atwood and Cameron Atwood; great granddaughter, Channing Collins, nieces, Monica Loggans, Amanda Trueblood and Nikki Torres; nephew, Joey Loggans; great nieces, Audrey Martin, Josie Loggans, Madison Loggans and Nova Loggans; great nephews, Hunter Loggans, Seth Martin , Ellis Trueblood and Axl Gohan Torres.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Services will be scheduled at a later date.
