Obituary of Briar Sarael Helwege

Briar Helwege passed away at her home in Gallatin on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the age of 39.  She was born on June 27, 1979 in Cape Girardeau, MO and is where she grew up and attended school.

She is the daughter of Gary J. Helwege, Christine Eaton-Fochler and Step- father Raymond P. Fochler.  Briar was employed at YAPP USA Automotive in Gallatin.

She leaves behind her 11 year old daughter, Kyan Layne Sullivan;  her father, Gary J. Helwege; her mother, Christine Fochler; her brother, Travis Ryan Helwege; her step-father, Raymond P. Fochler; her maternal grandmother, Betty L. Hitt and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who dearly loved her.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, O.D. and Jackie Helwege and her maternal grandfather, D.T. Eaton.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 5, 2019 from 1 - 6 at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 3305 N. High Street, Jackson, MO.

A second Celebration of Life will be held on January 11, 2019 at Centerstage Performing Arts Academy located at 250 Hancock Street, Gallatin, TN.  Time to be announced at a later time.
