Obituary of David Lee Kennedy
David Lee Kennedy age 60 of Fayetteville, NC, passed away at Elmcroft of Hendersonville (TN) on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. Mr. Kennedy was born on September 19, 1958, to the late Harvey Ronald Kennedy Sr. and the late Betty Wall Kennedy.
David graduated from Jesuit HS in Tampa, FL, Duke University and Campbell Law School in North Carolina. He practiced law for many years for Cumberland County Social Services in Fayetteville, NC, and was a member of the American Bar Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
David leaves behind son, Jonathan David Kennedy of Fayetteville, NC; daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Joyce of Springfield, TN; three brothers, Ronald Kennedy, Jr. of Morristown, NJ, John Kennedy of Smithfield, NC, Scott Kennedy of Tampa, FL; and granddaughter, Carlee Dale Joyce of Springfield, TN.
The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30pm on Friday, October 12, 2018, at Cumberland Memorial Gardens (4509 Raeford Rd) in Fayetteville, NC, with a small memorial service at 3pm.
