Obituary of Annie Marie Willams

Annie Marie Williams was born March 19, 1928 in Cross Plains, TN and she passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at her residence in Portland at the age of 90.  She was the daughter of Johnny Virgil and Vollie Clamary Brown Long.  Mrs. Williams was a business owner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Williams, son, Joel Anthony Keene, sister, Odillion Denning and brothers, Leonard, Garvin, Wallace and Winfred Long.

Survivors include two daughters, Theresa Moss and husband David, Vicki Martin of Portland; sister, Beatrice Groves of Hendersonville; six grandchildren, Mechele Dillard and husband Scott, Amanda Coward, Ashley Whaley and husband Jonathan, Robert Keene and wife Julia, Heath Martin and wife April, Heidi Frizzell and husband Will.  Seven great grandchildren, Kristin Samples, Katelyn Graham, Ashtyn Whaley, Evan Coward, Riley Graham, Jameson Whaley, Hannah Marie Frizzell and Jacob Frizzell.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 11am to 3 pm at Union Chapel General Baptist Church located at 1125 College St. in Portland.  Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Friday at the church with Bro. Mark Scott officiating, Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Portland.

Pallbearers will be David Moss, Heath Martin, Riley Graham, Scott Dillard, Mark Groves, Will Frizzell and Robbie Keene.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob and Evan Coward.
