Obituary of Joseph Frank Coons
Mr. Joseph Frank Coons was born June 26, 1928 in Red Boiling Springs, TN and he passed away at Gallatin Health Care Center on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the age of 89.
Mr. Coons was the son of William Peyton and V. Hix Coons. He was married to Hester Sue Jones Coons who passed away on May 26, 2003 and he was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter, Joy Gail Woodard, two sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include son, Barry Coons of Castalian Springs, TN, sister, Louise Whitley of Red Boiling Springs, TN, four grandchildren, Casey Roberts, Katie Beavers, Mandie Madison and Miranda Woodard, three great-grandchildren, Kage Beavers, Kenley Madison and Addie Madison.
Celebration of life will be on Sunday, June 3rd at 2:00 pm. This will be held at 471 Corum Hill Road in Castalian Springs. This will be a cookout style event. Please come by grab a burger and share memories you had of Joe. Any questions please contact his son Barry Coons at 615-804-7629.
