Obituary of Elmer G. Martin

Elmer Gist Martin, Jr. was born December 25,1945 in San Bernardino, CA and he passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 in Gallatin Tennessee at the age of 71. Elmer was the son of Elmer Gist Martin, Sr and Leacy Marie Cruz and Raymond Bertram Cruz (stepfather). He was a member of the Baptist Church and worked in the medical field. He served in the US Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Kevin Shawn Martin along with brothers David Warren Martin and Charles Edward Martin and one sister, Alta Marie (Martin) Haynes. Survivors include his wife Sandra Kay Martin of Cottontown Tennessee; two sons, David Lee Martin of Indiana and Joe Dan Martin of Oklahoma; daughter, Jennifer Martin of Cottontown Tennessee; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
