Obituary of Joseph John Brentise
Joseph John Brentise, Sr. age 84 of Gallatin passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Gallatin Health Care and Rehab. He was born in Burlington, Iowa on August 30, 1933 to George and Martha Brentise.
Mr. Joseph was a hospital supply worker and a member of the Long Hollow Baptist Church in Gallatin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Leta Brentise and son, Jason Brentise. He is also preceded in death by multiple brothers and sisters, Margaret, Dorothy, Bessie, Paul, Floyd, and Donna.
Survivors include two sons, Joe Brentise and wife Betsy of Gallatin, and Robert Brentise of Haleyville, AL; five daughters, Terry Tatum and Judy Swanson both of Ripley, TN; Cindy Neely of Arizona, Annie Hubbard of Iowa and Eva Singleton of Gallatin; brother, Chester Brentise; sister, Carol Cook. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
Memorial service will be held in Trenton, TN at a later date.
