Obituary of Christopher Shane Lackey

Christopher Shane Lackey, age 41, of Orlinda, passed away on Wednesday January 22, 2020 at his residence. Christopher was born in Springfield, TN on Friday January 5, 1979, son of Thomas Lackey and Glenda Gayle Searcy Phillips. Christopher was a construction worker. Survivors include two sons, Caden Lackey and Isaiah Lackey both of Portland; brothers, Charles Thomas Lackey of Orlinda and Michael Richards of Portland; sisters, Penny Gober of Cross Plains and Patty Trammel of Portland; father, Thomas Lackey and stepmother, Patricia (Patty) Lackey of Orlinda; mother, Glenda Phillips of Portland and girlfriend, Dana Fuller of Hermitage. Chris loved all sports along with dirt bikes, hunting and fishing. Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan 27 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Orlinda Baptist Church 1142 W Church St, Orlinda. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday, Jan 28 from 10:00 to 1:00 PM at Orlinda Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, Jan 28 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Orlinda Baptist Church 1142 W Church St, Orlinda with Pastor Lance Wamble officiating. Christopher's Burial will take place at Searcy Cemetery located on Jernigan Rd. in Sumner County. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family to assist in funeral expenses.
