Obituary of Robert Edward Lea, Jr.

Robert Edward Lea, Jr. age 75, of Gallatin, passed away on Friday August 9, 2019 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin.

He was born on Tuesday January 11, 1944 in Knoxville, TN to Robert Edward Lea, Sr. and the Vernada Lee Hickey Lea. He was a member of the Gallatin Church of Christ and a police officer for Metro Nashville Police Department.

Mr. Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors Include his wife, Janice Holt Lea whom he married 8-8-2002; son, Robert E. Lea, III; daughter, Angela Woodard of Gallatin; step-son, James Davis of Gallatin and Jeremy Davis of Cookeville; step-daughter, Annette Rowland of Cody, WY; sister, Jo Anne White of Nashville, niece, Ava Maria Anderson and two grandchildren, Robert E. Lea IV and Seth Ryan Woodard.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Aug 12 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Gallatin Church of Christ 150 E Main St, Gallatin with funeral services beginning at 11 AM at the church. Entombment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens.
